Welcome to the May edition of Green Drinks!

We are proud to announce that our guest speaker this May will be James Nix.
James Nix holds a Masters in Transport, Planning and Real Estate Development and is also a barrister. He stood as a candidate for the Green Party in a past election and is currently working for the Irish Environmental Network (IEN).

His job as coordinator for transport and planning Policy puts him in charge of creating a liaison between members of the IEN and the government. The members of the IEN currently include 32 not-for-profit organizations that work with environmental and sustainability issues. The IEN acts as a platform for communications amongst the members, between the members and the government, and provides the members with resources to facilitate the members in meeting their own goals.


On Tuesday 4th of May, James Nix will be speaking at Green Drinks to identify what sustainability means and discuss if (and how) citizens can lobby for it. Don't miss this talk; it is set to be a thought provoking evening!


As always, there will be FREE vegetarian food, good vibes and if you're lucky you'll land your hands on a FREE Green Drinks Shopper! We are looking forward to seeing you at 6pm on the top floor of Messrs Maguire on May 4th (first Tuesday of the Month)!
