Brompton M3L 2011 Folding Bike

Finally, the Brompton 2011 range is here! Bromptons are our favourite fold up bikes for a couple of very good reasons. They are one of only two frame manufactures still based in the UK and their product is impeccably designed. To quote Brompton themselves, “aesthetics are not a design consideration… although sound design usually looks good”.

The distinctive U-shape of this M Type's handlebars has been used on the Brompton since the outset: it gives a fairly upright ride with excellent control. The Brompton M3L 2011 Folding Bike is the all-rounder in the range and remains the most popular Brompton, as much at home in the city as on a country lane, and with plenty of room for luggage at the front.

The key M Type is the M3L (also available as M3L-X) - it is the classic Brompton, featuring a new Brompton specific light weight Sturmey Archer 3-speed hub and all the fundamental advantages of the Brompton design.
