At Leaf Living, we do love our eco-friendly office furniture. This Water Powered Calculator is a new favourite! It's just as eco-friendly as its more compact and professional cousins, but it runs on more up to date, longer life, water powered batteries.

This calculator runs on fully recyclable, water based batteries, with an estimated life of three years. The H2O batteries are easy to refill and will provide constant power for 3 months at a time with just a few drops of water.

The patented technology utilises two electrodes of specially formulated alloys, one positive, and the other negative. When immersed in water an electrochemical reaction takes place resulting in the production of electrical energy.

Every year billions of conventional dry cell batteries are used, and the recycling of such waste is expensive and often incomplete, resulting in hazardous pollution and damage to our environment. All components of the water battery are fully recyclable, and replacement batteries are readily available here.
