Élan® DX40 is a modern, lightweight and portable radio that sounds as good as it looks and designed with the environment in mind.
If you haven't experienced DAB digital radio yet, you're in for a treat with new unique-to-digital stations like BBC 7, BBC Five Live Sports Extra, Planet Rock and theJazz. And all your favourite national AM stations such as talkSPORT, Virgin and BBC Five Live are broadcast in crisp, clear digital-quality sound too.
Features include textSCAN™ to pause and control scrolling text, and Intellitext® which saves news, sports results and other scrolling text*, so it's there when you want it.
In addition, Élan DX40 has all the DAB features you'd expect from PURE, including fast autotune, station selection by name, and scrolling text showing track titles, artist's names, news and sports.
There are also 16 presets for storing and recalling your favourite stations, a clock display and even a sleep timer.
Élan DX40 is also ChargePAK® ready. The optional ChargePAK (sold seperately) gives up to 15 hours of portable listening between charges, so you can enjoy your favourite radio stations wherever you want.
